Back in March 2019, Troja’s ‘Sutra’ was one of the standout tunes from ‘India Gets Physical Vol. 1’, now it gets revisited by DJ T., Moisees and Andrea Ljekaj who all serve up thrilling new versions.
First to step up is DJ. T, the long standing house hero and Get Physical founder. His version is seven scintillating minutes of disco tinged house music with a standout bassline that is rugged and driving. Haunting vocals appear like apparitions in the breakdowns and make this a spiritual remix indeed.
Moisees is a respected producer from Mexico with credits on Never Stop Music as well as his own Duro label. Here he cooks up some real dance floor steam with busy percussion, spraying synths and a pressurised bassline that is front and centre.
Last but not least, Get Physical regular Andrea Ljekaj is a multi-award-winning producer and DJ with releases on this label, Einmusika, Selador and gigs across Europe. His remix is the deepest of the lot, with spacious and dubby drums drawing you into a mysterious late night world where sci-fi effects and teasing bass stabs keep you on your toes. < My fav.
