DJ Feline is one of the original early 90,s London underground female house djs. She was inspired to start dj’ing after hearing Frankie Knuckles and David Morales dj at the Ministry of Sound in 1992.
As part of dj duo Sisters in Sound, she dj’d and partied at all the best London clubs and warehouse parties in the early nineties and used to hold legendary after parties at her flat. She went on to dj solo as DJ Feline: becoming resident dj for Universe, Tribal Gathering, Jazz Bistro, and the Vibe Bar as well as dj’ing extensively in London, Europe, Israel and the US, including Burning Man Festival,Big Chill and Glade festival. She teamed up with DJ Face (Gavin from Copyright) to set up Fruitbeard recordings in the late nineties and hosted a very popular radio show on Interface radio (pioneering first live streaming internet radio station) with him for years .
DJ Feline is back on the decks again after a long break from the music industry. She is fresher than ever, mixing music and healing ( her other passion). All her music comes straight from the heart. Her vibe is deep, sexy soulful house, with lots of percussion, old classics and good sprinkling of afro and techy beats.
She is dj’ing in London, Reading and Portugal this summer, with lots of gigs in the pipeline and monthly radio shows on DEEA radio and Soulful Chic radio.
