Aly&Fila release 2nd single “Gravity”

Staying true to the declaration made by their new album’s title ‘It’s All About The Melody’, trance music’s notable duo Aly & Fila have released the second single from their sixth longer player project. With driving basslines, soaring melodies, and pinching atmospheric feel that transcends Irish singer/songwriter Deirdre McLaughlin’s vocal part into a celestial wonder, ‘Gravity’ sizzles with a sentiment that is guaranteed to captivate audiences from the front to the back of any dancefloor!

Following on from the reveal of the first single from the album – ‘It’s All About The Melody’Aly & Fila waste no time giving fans a real taste of what is to come from their sixth, and most musically ambition, artist album to date. As energetic as it is emotive, ‘Gravity’ is more than your standard trance club record.

Laced with big builds, awe-inspiration anticipation, it’s everything you’d expect from Aly & Fila but more. The melodic structure of this second single is grandiose and being the first vocal release from the Egyptian duo’s new album, fans are treated to a single that is as comfortable on the dancefloor as it is on the airwaves.

“One of our aims with this album is to showcase the musical areas we believe trance music can go. There’s a musical quality to trance that has the ability to lift any dancefloor. You see it with techno DJ’s playing trance records in their sets, or big room DJ’s dropping euphoric-trance styled records, it’s an omnipresent sound that everyone can connect with. We simply want to magnify that feeling and bring that energy to the listener” says Aly & Fila.

With ‘Gravity’ we wanted a record that gave the listener heightened sense of the moment. The complement of Deirdre’s vocal part really allows the record to do that – we couldn’t be happier with the final outcome!”

In a career that has already seen a handful of albums, on top of countless chart scaling single releases with anthems like ‘You & I’, ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘Breathe Us To Life’ in their back catalogue, on top of some pretty jaw dropping performances at festivals from Ultra Music Festival, Dance Valley and Tomorrowland to playing homecoming shows at The Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, or more recently hosting their Heracleion Festival on the Red Sea in Egypt with special guests Sasha, Cosmic Gate, Âme, John ‘00’ Fleming and Artbat. It’s fair to say theFuture Sound of Egypt label bosses are making global statements that are drawing both praise and visibility from a legion of fans around the world. Not surprising when their pedigree of releases is as powerful as their latest album single – ‘Gravity’ featuring Deirdre McLaughlin.

‘Gravity’ is out now via Future Sounds of Egypt.
