Cariere lui Hess a inceput in Berettamusic si a continuat in Omar-S FXHE, dar producatorul a petrecut multa vreme la platane, unde si - a cultivat sunetul de baza, dub tehno. Obsesia pentru acest tip de muzica a continuat si se face auzita in cele 9 piese ale debutului sau "Light In The Dark".
