In fiecare an, mixul lui Sven, “Sound of the Season”, apare la cateva saptamani distanta de incheierea sezonului de petreceri din Amnesia, Ibiza. De fiecare data Väth s-a ocupat personal de selectia pieselor din aceasta compilatie, in incercarea de a capta in acest mix atmosfera noptilor de luni din Ibiza.
Detinatorul Cocoon prezinta o selectie full techno, cu piese de la Ben Sims, WK7 (AKA Shed), Planetary Assault System si Silent Servant pe primul disc, iar pe cel de-al doilea a ales piese de atmosfera de la Four Tet, Uner, Rhadoo, Romanthony sau Roman Flügel.
